Key to the success of BrumJam is a dedicated and willing team of volunteers typically know as Staff.

BrumJam 2021 is looking for around 200 adults to support the delivery of the camp. And ensure the young people and groups have a great time. After all this is one of the reasons we all join Scouting and Guiding.
All staff must be over 18 and hold a Scout or Guide adult appointment along with a valid DBS or PVG check.

We are looking for all kinds of skills from management and leadership, administration and finance, programme and technical skills or just somebody who is happy to turn up and do. A good sense of humour and flexibility also goes along way.

We won‘t lie to you the hours are long, the pay and pension opportunities are none existent and you will be tired by the end of the week. However if we can find the right people for the right roles then we can plan perfectly making the delivery of BrumJam so much easier and enjoyable for everybody after all it is important the Staff have a good time too.

Being part of the staff team also means that you will be able to take part in the unique Staff activity programme such as the Blackwell Adventure Activities evening, It’s a Knock out evening, Staff ”formal mess” meal and of course the staff bar with various entertainment evenings* *all to be confirmed.

Staff bookings are open now. Camp fees are £100 for the week. This costs includes all camp fees, catering, staff activity evenings and a event polo shirt.
