We are looking forward to welcoming Scouts & Guides from Birmingham, the UK and the around the world to BrumJam 2016 International Jamboree.

We are now inviting applications from the International Scouting Community and would welcome your register of interest.

You are responsible for your own transport to and from the camp but we can arrange for transport to and from the nearest railway station at Barnt Green – by prior arrangement of course.

All Groups should aim to arrive on Saturday 30th July. If because of timings you need to arrive a day early we maybe able to link you up with a local Scout Group to use their Scout Hut for the night. But please remember to ask before assuming this.

We recommend that you take out your own travel and medical insurance for the whole group

We have a dedicated own International Liaison Chief who is responsible to support International visitors to BrumJam.

The International Liaison Chief will be able to advise on the process from the point of registration letters of invitation to support your visa application where required arranging a link with a local Scout Group questions relating to travel plans and of course will drop in to your camp during BrumJam to say hello and make sure everything is OK.

Providing there are vacancies we will then allocate you to a Team Chief who will then answer any further questions.

The process is then as follow:
1. Complete your application and payment then
2. Our International Liaison Chief: Mr. Paul Goon will then contact your home country Scout Association to confirm your membership and suitability to work with children etc. then
3. If you require a visa to enter the UK we then send an official invite. We obviously can’t confirm attendance until we have completed points 1 and 2.
