It’s a Knockout Zone

BrumJam 2012 is pleased to announce that the It’s a Knockout Zone ( part of the three day off-site programme ) is now confirmed! We will be using the company and team at We’re a Knockout to run this day for us and it will take place at Pikes Pool.

Each day the sub camp allocated to this zone will congregate at the identified meeting point at Blackwell Court and then walk as a group to Pikes Pool in what is commonly known as a ‘Walking Bus’. Pikes Pool is approximately 1 mile walk from Blackwell Court. Marshalls from the BrumJam Activity Team will be on hand to assist with this.

We’re a Knockout have enjoyed working with both the Scouts and Guides over the years. They did the Centenary International Guide Camp at Harewood House in 2010 for over 4000 Guides in 4 days and to start the year of celebrations the Solihull Guiding event at the NEC as well as many other Guide camps and Scout camps throughout the years.

We’re a Knockout are orientating some of their games in 2012 to have an Olympic flavour, so this will fit in well with the theme of our camp. The It’s a Knockout Zone will see teams working together to gain points while participating in the various activity competitions with a traditional ‘it’s a knockout’ theme. Activities including Inflatable’s, Tele Tubbi Challenge, Twin Peaks, Canon Run and the Foam Pit. These activities will be run during the morning and afternoon sessions giving a full day of fun and entertainment. Scouts, Guides and Adults will end up exhilarated but tired, so this just might help us all with our sleep patterns !!!!

We’re a Knockout provide everything including staff, equipment, prop’s, PA, music, games, power etc. Members of the BrumJam Activity Team will be available during the day to act as support should it be required.

This is another great addition to the off-site programme.
